What I love about this is that, sure, they’ve touched each other before/held hands and whatnot, but it always seems to happen during or after an event. She held his hand in Cops and Robbers, but he was being held hostage. They held hands during 3XK for comfort. They held hands in Cuffed, but they were trying not to get attacked by a tiger. Here, they’re just at Kate’s, sharing custody of a dog, with no one being in any form of distress. It’s just casual/domestic Rick and Kate. And that’s why I love this scene so much.
^ THIS.
This time, them holding hands is different. It’s not when they’re in danger, or need comfort, or under cover. It’s just THEM.
That’s what makes it different from all the other times.
(Of course, they most likely won’t kiss or anything, and Kate will probably turn her attention to the dog, or the dog will bark and distract them, or Rick will… Well, Rick probably won’t turn away/ruin the moment, but I can’t say the same about Kate, or the dog… Hopefully, though, SOMETHING happens.)
Also, why does it look like she almost wants to cry there? Or is it just me who thinks that?
More than anything, I was kind of blown away by the “THIS IS A SERIOUS MOMENT, GANG,” music going on there in the background…and then yeah, I flailed, because HER EYES. I’m really interested to see what happens after this, because with that background, where do you go next?
I have theories on this episode. Definitely think its going to have a lot more meat to it than we’ve been led to believe.
Surely they can’t just give away the biggest Caskett moment of the episode in a sneek peak, there has to be more.
It’s like everything she feels about him just comes rushing up into her eyes and her face, and you can see everything...
